We are looking to hire a dedicated and reliable kitchen assistant to assist the cook with ingredient preparation and perform all washing and cleaning duties required in the kitchen.

Job Description:

  • Frying Lok Lok
  • Washing, chopping, shredding, and grating ingredients for subsequent use by the Head Chef
  • Preparing and topping up the sauce
  • Responsible for cleanliness of work area, which includes food preparation equipment, floor and kitchen tools, sink and dishes
  • Monitor inventory and report items that need to reorder
  • Responsible for receiving incoming food orders and rotating stock
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean uniform
  • Storing ingredients according to prescribed food safety regulations
  • Constantly check the quality of food prepared regarding taste and temperature according to the company standard and safety and hygiene policies and procedures
  • Comply with workplace safety and health policies and procedures
  • Follow food and beverage safety and hygiene policies and procedures
  • Follow production schedule and serve orders timely.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years working experience in kitchen
  • Knowledge of kitchen sanitation
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment
  • Able to work on weekends and Public Holidays
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions
  • Able to communicate at all staff levels and with Head Chef

Working Hours:

3 pm – 11 pm (to report 30 mins early); 8 hrs shift on Tues, Weds, Thurs and Sun
3 pm – 1 am (to report 30 mins early); 10 hrs shift + Transport Claim on Fri and Sat
